Unlike a personal signature, the seal is not tied to a specific individual. Once issued, the company can continue to use it even if the person who initially requested or authorized it leaves the organization or ceases to hold an administrative\/legal representative role.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The electronic seal is used to digitally sign documents, workflows, or corporate content (such as software, images, etc.), certifying their origin, authenticity, and integrity. <strong>A document or any other content sealed with an electronic seal strongly and legally attests to its source and content.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To obtain a <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.intesa.it\/en\/electronic-seal\/\"><strong>Qualified Electronic Seal<\/strong><\/a><\/span> companies must contact an eIDAS-accredited Certification Authority authorized to issue such seals, such as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.intesa.it\/en\/\">Intesa<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text admin_label=&#8221;What&#8217;s EPREL&#8221; _builder_version=&#8221;4.23.1&#8243; hover_enabled=&#8221;0&#8243; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221; sticky_enabled=&#8221;0&#8243;]<\/p>\n<h3>What&#8217;s EPREL<\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>EPREL<\/strong> stands for <strong>European Product Registry for Energy Labelling<\/strong>, the database where, since January 1, 2019, all manufacturers and distributors of electronic appliances must register their products <strong>to obtain the energy label<\/strong>. This is the same label we have all seen on appliances displayed in stores. The label must be placed on the product\u2019s packaging to inform consumers about its energy consumption characteristics.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text admin_label=&#8221;Electronic Seal: what\u2019s required from March 1, 2022&#8243; _builder_version=&#8221;4.23.1&#8243; hover_enabled=&#8221;0&#8243; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221; sticky_enabled=&#8221;0&#8243;]<\/p>\n<h3>Electronic Seal: what\u2019s required from March 1, 2022<\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To ensure that only organizations legally authorized to trade within the EU can display energy labels, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.intesa.it\/en\/intesa-a-kyndryl-company-now-offers-qualified-electronic-seals-for-eprel-registration-and-verification\/\">starting from March 1, 2022, manufacturers and distributors of appliances must not only register their products in EPREL but also &#8220;verify&#8221; their identity on the EPREL portal.<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To do so, EPREL <strong>has introduced a verification procedure within the portal, which must be completed even by companies already registered.<\/strong> This involves applying a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.intesa.it\/en\/electronic-seal\/\">Qualified Electronic Seal (Qe-Seal)<\/a> to a PDF document.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The application of <strong>the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.intesa.it\/en\/electronic-seal\/\">Qe-Seal<\/a><\/strong> will serve to verify:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The actual existence of the manufacturing or distributing company, referred to in EPREL as an \u201cOrganization\u201d<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">That the organization has its registered office in the EU, within the EEA (European Economic Area), or in Northern Ireland<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The authorization of the &#8220;Supplier Admin&#8221; to register appliances in EPREL on behalf of the organization<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Supplier Admin is the individual who first creates the organization\u2019s profile on the EPREL portal. Later, additional Supplier Admins can be added to the organization\u2019s profile, along with Supplier Users or Supplier Readers.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text admin_label=&#8221;How to complete the verification procedure and apply the Electronic Seal in EPREL&#8221; _builder_version=&#8221;4.23.1&#8243; background_size=&#8221;initial&#8221; background_position=&#8221;top_left&#8221; background_repeat=&#8221;repeat&#8221; hover_enabled=&#8221;0&#8243; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221; sticky_enabled=&#8221;0&#8243;]<\/p>\n<h3>How to complete the verification procedure and apply the Electronic Seal in EPREL<\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If you are a manufacturer or distributor of appliances within the EU, you must complete the identification and verification process by following these steps and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.intesa.it\/en\/electronic-seal\/\"><strong>applying the Qualified Electronic Seal<\/strong><\/a>:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>1. Log in to EPREL with Your EU Credentials<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">EU Login can be obtained through a simple registration process, which must be completed under an individual&#8217;s name.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>2. If you haven\u2019t already, create your organization\u2019s profile<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If you are accessing EPREL for the first time without an invitation from another admin, you will be automatically prompted to create your organization\u2019s profile by entering your company\u2019s details.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>3. Download the verification file<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">From the organization profile, under the Verification section, click on Start verification process, enter the name and email of the person who <strong>will <a href=\"https:\/\/www.intesa.it\/en\/electronic-seal\/\">apply the electronic seal<\/a><\/strong>, and download the Verification file, a PDF already sealed with the EU\u2019s eSeal.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>4. Apply the Organization\u2019s Qe-Seal<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">At this point, simply apply the Qualified Electronic Seal to the PDF and re-upload it to the EPREL portal. <\/script><\/span><!-- end HubSpot Call-to-Action Code -->[\/et_pb_code][et_pb_text admin_label=\"Cos\u2019\u00e8 il sigillo elettronico qualificato (Qe-seal) e come si ottiene\" _builder_version=\"4.23.1\" background_size=\"initial\" background_position=\"top_left\" background_repeat=\"repeat\" global_colors_info=\"{}\"]<\/p><h3>Cos\u2019\u00e8 il sigillo elettronico qualificato (Qe-seal) e come si ottiene<\/h3><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Il <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.intesa.it\/sigillo-elettronico\/\"><strong>sigillo elettronico qualificato<\/strong><\/a><\/span> pu\u00f2 essere interpretato come una firma elettronica qualificata, intestata per\u00f2 all\u2019azienda o organizzazione: il sigillo infatti non dipende da una specifica persona fisica e, quando viene rilasciato, pu\u00f2 essere utilizzato dall'azienda anche se la persona fisica che lo aveva inizialmente richiesto o autorizzato ha lasciato l\u2019azienda o ha cessato di ricoprire il ruolo di amministratore\/legale rappresentante.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Il sigillo elettronico serve quindi a firmare elettronicamente documenti, flussi o contenuti dell\u2019azienda (es. software, immagini\u2026) per certificarne la provenienza, l\u2019autenticit\u00e0 e l\u2019integrit\u00e0: <strong>un documento o altro contenuto sigillato con un sigillo elettronico attesta<\/strong>, in modo forte e normativamente rilevante,<strong> la provenienza e il contenuto di ci\u00f2 che \u00e8 stato firmato<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Per ottenere un <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.intesa.it\/sigillo-elettronico\/\"><strong>sigillo elettronico qualificato<\/strong><\/a><\/span> \u00e8 necessario rivolgersi a una <strong>Certification Authority eIDAS<\/strong> abilitata ad emettere i sigilli, come <a href=\"https:\/\/www.intesa.it\/\">Intesa<\/a>.<\/span><\/p><p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text admin_label=\"Che cos\u2019\u00e8 EPREL\" _builder_version=\"4.16\" global_colors_info=\"{}\"]<\/p><h3>Che cos\u2019\u00e8 EPREL<\/h3><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>EPREL<\/strong> \u00e8 l\u2019acronimo di<strong> European Product Registry for Energy Labelling<\/strong>, il database in cui, a partire dal 1 gennaio 2019, tutti i produttori e i distributori di apparecchi elettronici devono obbligatoriamente registrare i loro prodotti per<strong> ottenere l\u2019etichetta energetica<\/strong> che sicuramente tutti abbiamo visto almeno una volta sugli elettrodomestici esposti in negozio. L\u2019etichetta, infatti, deve essere esposta sulla confezione del prodotto, per informare i consumatori sulle caratteristiche di consumo di energia.<\/span><\/p><p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text admin_label=\"Cosa bisogna fare dal 1 marzo 2022\" _builder_version=\"4.16\" global_colors_info=\"{}\"]<\/p><h3>Sigillo elettronico: cosa bisogna fare dal 1 marzo 2022<\/h3><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Per assicurarsi che solo le organizzazioni effettivamente autorizzate al commercio all\u2019interno dell\u2019UE possano effettivamente esporre le etichette energetiche,<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.intesa.it\/intesa-a-kyndryl-company-emette-sigillo-elettronico-qualificato-ai-fini-della-registrazione-e-verifica-eprel\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> dal 1 marzo 2022 sar\u00e0 obbligatorio, per le aziende produttrici e per i distributori di elettrodomestici<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, non solo registrare i propri prodotti, ma anche \u201cverificare\u201d la propria identit\u00e0 all\u2019interno del portale EPREL.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Per fare ci\u00f2 EPREL ha predisposto all\u2019interno del portale <\/span><b>una procedura di verifica, che dovr\u00e0 essere effettuata anche da parte delle aziende gi\u00e0 da tempo registrate al portale<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, apponendo su un documento pdf un<strong> sigillo elettronico qualificato (Qe-seal).<\/strong><\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">L\u2019apposizione del <strong>sigillo elettronico qualificato<\/strong> servir\u00e0 a verificare:<\/span><\/p><ul><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">L\u2019effettiva esistenza dell\u2019azienda produttrice o del distributore, in EPREL denominata \u201cOrganizzazione\u201d<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Che l\u2019organizzazione abbia sede legale in UE, all\u2019interno della EEA (European Economic Area) o in Irlanda del Nord<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">L\u2019autorizzazione per il \u201cSupplier Admin\u201d a registrare gli apparecchi in EPREL a nome dell\u2019organizzazione<\/span><\/li><\/ul><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Il \u201cSupplier Admin\u201d \u00e8 la persona fisica che per primo crea il profilo dell\u2019organizzazione all\u2019interno del portale EPREL. Accedere a EPREL con le tue credenziali EU<\/b><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">L\u2019EU Login si pu\u00f2 ottenere con una semplice procedura di registrazione, che deve per\u00f2 essere eseguita a nome di una persona fisica.<\/span><\/p><p><b>2. Se non l\u2019hai gi\u00e0 fatto, crea il profilo dell\u2019organizzazione<\/b><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Se si accede per la prima volta a EPREL non essendo invitati da un altro admin, verr\u00e0 automaticamente richiesto di creare il profilo della propria organizzazione, inserendo le informazioni dell\u2019azienda.<\/span><\/p><p><b>3. Scarica il verification file<\/b><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Dal profilo dell\u2019organizzazione, sotto la voce \u201cVerification\u201d, si potr\u00e0 cliccare su \u201cStart verification process\u201d, inserire il nome e l\u2019email della persona che apporr\u00e0 il <strong>sigillo elettronico<\/strong>, e infine scaricare il \u201cVerification file\u201d, un file pdf gi\u00e0 sigillato con eSeal dell\u2019Unione Europea.<\/span><\/p><p><b>4. Apponi il QeSeal dell\u2019organizzazione<\/b><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A questo punto sar\u00e0 sufficiente apporre il <strong>sigillo elettronico qualificato<\/strong> sul pdf e ricaricarlo all\u2019interno del portale EPREL.
