On May 16<\/span>th<\/span>, 2023, the POTENTIAL Consortium signed the Grant Agreement with the European Union (EU), setting an official milestone for the start of the project with all LSPs.<\/span><\/p>\n Since the selection by the European Commission in December 2022, all POTENTIAL members have collectively conducted the Grant Agreement preparation phase, complying with administrative requirements and answering the evaluation summary report from the European Commission.<\/span><\/p>\n The signature of the Grant Agreement marks a step further for building POTENTIAL\u2019s Uses Cases for cross-border testing of the EU Digital Identity Wallet (EUDIW). The POTENTIAL Consortium is thrilled to share that its proposal, submitted in August 2022, has been selected by the European Commission.<\/p> 148 participants from 19 EU member states and Ukraine gather in the POTENTIAL Consortium to pilot new coming EU Digital Identity Wallet (EUDIW) prototypes in six Use Cases<\/strong> (\u201cElectronic Government services'', \u201cAccount opening\u201d, \u201cSIM registration\u201d, \u201cMobile Driving License\u201d, \u201cRemote Qualified Electronic Signature\u201d, And \u201cElectronic Prescription\u201d). The POTENTIAL consortium renews its commitment to implementing these pilots with ambition and determination.
